Feedback from people who shipped the brief

Mixed formats on purpose — some named, some anonymized, some platform-style. Every note references work from this studio.

Community Signal Studio’s week-three cohort maps replaced our monthly “engagement is up” ritual. Leadership now asks which cohort stalled, not whether the line went up.

Useful, though the health-score debate ate more meeting time than I budgeted. Still better than guessing.

Case studies

Regional social app — bilingual stakeholder brief

A Bangkok product trio entered Community Signal Studio with three conflicting definitions of “weekly active member.” After the event-truth module, they published a bilingual glossary and a single cohort narrative for Thai and English leadership decks. Within two reporting cycles, moderation and growth shared the same reactivation list. Limitation noted by the team: engineering still delayed two event renames, so early reports carried footnotes.

Learning app — moderator capacity argument

An anonymous education client used the Moderator Load Clinic worksheets to show response-time decay after 21:00 ICT. The Yardcore templates helped them request one contractor FTE with evidence rather than anecdote. They did not achieve full automation — and we did not promise it — but the capacity request was approved for a pilot quarter.
